Ibuprofen in the group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing hormones that leads to pain and inflammation in the body.

Ibuprofen reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation caused by many diseases such as headache, toothache, back pain, arthritis, menstrual cramps, pain or minor injuries.
This medicine may increase the risk of life-threatening heart or vascular problems such as heart attack or stroke. This risk will increase as ibuprofen use. Do not use this medicine just before or after heart bypass surgery (also known as coronary bypass or CABG).

Get emergency medical help if you have symptoms of cardiovascular problems or as chest pain, weakness, difficulty breathing, language or visual disturbance or breach of balance.

Medicine can also increase the risk of severe consequences for the stomach and bowels, including bleeding or perforation (education holes). These conditions can be fatal and gastrointestinal effects can occur without notice at any time while you are on ibuprofen. Old men have a high risk of serious gastrointestinal side effects.
